Care to explain the way it works for the humble brawlers. Round Robin? or Good old fashioned single elimination?

Everyone will play everyone else, points will be tallied and then the best of the best will go into single elimination

Ok i heard that the tournament was cancelled, but (don't laugh at me if this is a stupid question) since i won the tournament, even though there were only two people playing, will i still recieve the wii points? Please?

The tourney never happened. 3 or 4 people showed up, and only 2 people actually had a match. Tourney cancelled = no wii points + unhappy Rook.

Unfortunately the tournament never happened as a result of poor participation. However if there was some sort of calibration in which a new tournament was organized and succeeded then there would indeed be Wii points to be had. Perhaps a Smash 2 vs 2

Smash 2 vs 2? I'm not sure what you mean. Like 4 people divided into two teams and versus each other? Or a tournament bracket with 4 slots so there would be 2 rounds.

So it's a team battle? But then do both members of the team get the wii points? Also, when you say any number, does that mean... if there were only 4 people so a team of two vs another team of two would be okay? If so, hmmmmmm...
