Frighteningly enough, that makes sense.
Also, there is no punishment for not believing in a supreme being, but if the flying spaghetti monster finds out you may be touched by his noodly appendage. And since the official religious garment of Pastafarianism is Pirate regalia then Pastafarianism should be the official religion. That just occurred to me and I felt I should mention it.

But the FSM created the emperor. He started with the mountains and the trees, then created the pirates, and everything else. And he did it all 15 minutes ago and used his noodley appendage to create all the memories every person has that took place before 15 minutes ago so that they wouldn't realize the universe is only 15 minutes old.
