After much deliberation and scratching of the head, I have determined July's Movie of the month! It was kinda tough this month due to a personal split between a pair of great movies. Anywho, this time we are looking at Galaxy Quest. Oddly simmilar to this year's Tropic Thunder, Galaxy Quest is a great movie. (Both follow the tradition of Three Amigos!) http://youtube.com/watch?v=8VV6ZV8bTUw&feature=related The cast of a Star Trek-esk tv show are sent into space to do the real thing. With a huge list of talent, Galaxy Quest proves to be exceptionaly funny, and it makes it's subtle point. Headlining the film, you have Tim Allen and the sci-fi experienced Sigourney Weaver. Both fit the roles spot-on. It is definetly worth the watch. |

Okay, after some thought, June's obscure movie of the month is... Unbreakable.
From the guy who brought you The Sixth Sense and The Happening, comes a great thriller with one of those drop-jaw endings. Bruce Willis plays a security gaurd who gets involved in a terrible accident. Not only does he survive, but he isnt even scratched. Yet again, Bruce Willis is co-stared with Samual L. Jackson. (That is in no way a complaint.) This is a great movie and redefines the word "super". |

Right lads, heres May's Movie of the Month! Yea, its late, but I turned 20 this month so shove off. Drum roll please!.......Death to Smoochy !
I don't want to give to much away, but here goes: Rainbow Randolf (Williams) loses his tv show after doing some Illegal activities, and he is resplaced with the squeaky clean Smoochy the Rhino (Norton). The movie takes you deep into the dark side of children's television. This is yet another underated movie. Please see this, but only if you have a sense of humor, preferably a dark one. |

Alright I figured I should do something, so I bring you my new monthly thing. Each month I will dig up an old movie of excelent quality, one you probably never heard of, or at least have not seen. This month is: Falling Down
Set in the heart of the 90's, A white collar guy snaps while sitting in LA traffic. It happens to be his daughter's birthday, and he makes it his mission to see her. What makes this movie is the stuff that gets in his way. This movie shows how much Los Angeles sucks, and how things have gone wrong in society. Michael Douglas plays his part to the tee, and the always great Robert Duvall plays a cop on the eve of his retirement. Directed by Joe Schumacher , this is argueably his best film. |

The Bucket List This is not exactly the type of movie my demographic would be interested in seeing, but I try to see the majority of movies that come to my local theater, and this time it was worth the ticket price. |
