I finally got to see the movie I have been waiting to see all year!  Alien vs. Predator: Requiem.

Unlike the first avp, I was not disapointed.  Now this movie is not going to win any oscars, but if you have seen and liked the other alien or predator movies, you will love this one.  The ship holding the fallen hero from the first avp crash lands near a small town, the face huggers, and Predalien escape.  A lone Predator comes to wipe out the aliens and cover up the mess.  Let the mayhem begin. 

This ones got solid acting, and the story builds momentum that arrives at a climax that is truely one of the best I have seen this year.  Plus it has those moments in it that only a true fanboy would enjoy.*spoiler* you know this one is going to be gruesome well within the first 15 minutes of the film.  A dad and his son are out hunting and both of them get a face full of alien wang.  Yea, they killed a child in the first 15 minutes of the movie, all bets are off folks.  This time around the Predator is not out on some right of passage, or a lovely hunt.  This time its all business and anyone involved in this mess is going to be taken out.  The Predalien is even more unforgiving, lets just say it finds itself in a hospital...

Oh, and if you like the Alien series, you'll get a kick out of the ending.

4.5 out of 5 Awsome movie, it is does what it set out to do.  The only flaw is the lack of charactor development, you don't really learn about most the charactors, and when you don't know them, you don't care about them.  This is not the sort of movie for that kind of thing, so only a small complaint.

 Go see this movie, unless of coarse you don't like Aliens, or Predator.
